Tested by an independent research team under the most demanding scientific methods, the Windstorm™ competed head-to-head for loudness against the most popular whistles in the world and won! It produces a sound that is over 100 decibels loud, is ear piercing and should not be used by children. This is not your average whistle. The only whistle to beat it was it’s big brother the Storm whistle. We do not offer the Storm because of it’s larger size.
The compact size of approximately {2.25 in | 5.7 cm} across the main body allows this safety device to easily be tucked away during your dives when not in use. The safety whistle performs in all conditions and in any weather or safety situation and in any position. When blown on land it can be audible up to 1/2 mile to signal the boat. Underwater it can be audible for up to 50 feet to signal your wandering buddy or others. It includes a stainless split ring with “S” bend and an approximate diameter of {.75 in | 1.9 cm}.
A high-impact, marine grade and non-corrosive thermoplastic housing is easy to grasp even with gloves. The patented double chamber design allows it to be used when held right side up or upside down, forcing all water to be purged when the whistle is blown. No matter what your location or position it will work when needed!
